Forsyth Family Fest 5k, 1 mile, & Kids Run

The Forsyth Family Fest Race has an event for everyone! The Kids Run is an untimed out and back 1/2 mile fun race for kids 10 and under. The 1 mile run/walk is also an untimed, out and back race entirely on sidewalks. The 5K is chip timed, and the loop course runs on sidewalks and a bike/walk path through Forsyth parks.

Forsyth Park Large Pavilion   Race Day Check In 7 - 7:30 AM

Early Check is June 13th from 8 AM - 5:30 PM at Forsyth Village Hall

Race #1:  Kids’ Run - an untimed, ½ mile race for kids 10 years of age and younger, race will be 

                on sidewalks. 

Race #2:  1 mile run/walk - an untimed race will be on sidewalks

Race #3:  5K - chip timed, a loop course that runs on sidewalks and the bike/walk path through 

                the park 

Parking:  Lot A off of Weaver Road, or lot C off of Forsyth Parkway.  Restrooms and water stations available at start/finish and along the race route.  After race snacks and beverages will be provided.

5K Awards:  First three places in each age division* and overall male and female winners will receive awards.  Overall male and female winners will be eliminated from their respective age group.  All participants age 10 and under will receive participation medals.  

Age Group Divisions (Both Genders):

10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+

Fees:  5K-$17 if registered before May 29, 2024, $20 after May 29, 2024; 1 mile $10; Kids Race $5.  Participants of all races are guaranteed a short sleeved t-shirt if registered by May 29, 2024.
