Come join us with a day filled with music, food and games for our families and the community! Our Spring Walk for the Arts 5K and Festival has become a wonderful tradition!  All proceeds support the Institute of Music for Children.

10:00 am - Walk for the Arts 5K Start
11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Music and Games Festival/Flea Market

Cost:
The event is FREE and open to the public.
 
However…
The Institute relies on the financial support of our member families, friends, and community members in order to keep our programs affordable to and families and provide scholarships to those most in need.
 
We encourage all participants to create a fundraiser page, purchase a t-shirt, and/or make a personal donation upon registering for the Walk for the Arts 5K & Festival. And be sure to bring your wallet for game tickets, food, treats, special edition t-shirts, and more at the event.
 
Your support will ensure that ALL children have access to high-quality arts education.
 

About the Institute

The Institute of Music For Children is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization providing economically accessible, high-quality arts education and enrichment to over 1,000 youth in New Jersey annually.
 
The Institute offers group and individual arts instruction to students, ages 3 to adult, through its after-school and summer programs, as well as through partnerships with area schools, churches, and social service organizations.
 
The Institute strives to broaden participation in the arts among underserved communities through tuition assistance, bi-lingual staff and promotional materials, and urban outreach initiatives.  Students are never turned away from the Institute based on financial need.
