The Angel Heart Foundation was formed in honor of James Gatewood III. A catastrophe hit the Gatewood family on June 5, 2016 when James (44 years old) passed away from cardiomyopathy. It was not until his death that the disease was found. Due to the tragic loss of an incredible husband, father, son and brother the Gatewood family has made it their mission to aide in saving someone else from losing a loved one from cardiomyopathy.
