Description
TIME CHANGE NOTICE: BOTH events will begin at 9 am. (8k previously scheduled to begin at 9:15 am).
The Calhoun County Trail Run is an 8k and 20k that takes place on the beautiful Calhoun County Trail including both Bridge Park and Ott Biological Preserve for the 20k and Bridge Park for the 8k. The rolling hills and beautiful scenery, rock walls, and bridges make the run a must add to your fall line up. The trail is gravel surface and non-technical. The run will take place entirely on the trail, with a few street crossings.
We are doing our part in being good stewards of our community and working towards limiting waste. The Calhoun County Trail Run will be completely cup free. Water stations will be available to fill your own reusable cup or water supply.
Proceeds benefit the Calhoun County Trails and Parks.
The event will start at end at the new and improved Kimball Pines Park. While the park had been underutilized for many years, a recently passed millage is funding a complete transformation of the park!

Race Day
The start/finish is located at Kimball Pines Park (1150 East Michigan Avenue, behind the Calhoun County Medical Care Facility).
Packet Pick-up: 7:30-8:45 am
20k Start: 9:00 am
8k Start: 9:15 am
Race Day Celebration and Games: 9:00-1:00 pm
Hydration
Aid stations will be located approximately every 2 miles with Gu at the 6 and 9 mile aid stations.
WE ARE A PAPER CUP FREE EVENT. Runners are required to bring their own hydration or reusable cup. Aid stations will have water and Nuun for participants to use to fill/refill their hydration packs or cups. A few recyclable cups will be available at aid stations in case of an emergency.
Awards
The Calhoun County Trail Run is offering overall awards to the top 3 male and top 3 female runners of each event. In addition, the first overall master for both men and women will receive an award.
