2023 Race Cancelation
Good morning CB5K friends,
UVa Emergency Management has made the decision, based on the unsafe high winds and weather conditions, to not hold the race this morning.
We’re sorry about this and truly appreciate all of your support in helping this special event raise a record amount for our three local beneficiaries this year.
Our race committee will meet this week to discuss next steps. In the meantime, on behalf of President Ryan, our hardworking race committee and our wonderful volunteers, I thank you for your patience and understanding.

Description
The 3rd Annual Community Bridges 5K Run/Walk will take place Saturday, September 23, 2023.
Please join President Jim Ryan and runners and walkers from the University and community for this special community event!
Proceeds will be donated to support local non-profits including the Jefferson School African American Heritage Center, Cultivate Charlottesville and The Rivanna Conservation Alliance.
Packet Pickup will be held on Thursday (9/21) at the Jefferson School from 9am-1pm. We will have race day packet pickup from 6:30-7:15 am at the Jefferson School.
