University of Denver - 2015 Crimson Classic 5K and 1.5 Mile

Join the DU community for the 3rd Annual Crimson Classic on the University of Denver's beautiful campus! All participants will receive a sport-tek Crimson Classic t-shirt and timing chip!

Packet Pickup - Packet Includes: Crimson Classic Shirt & Timing Chip.

We encourage registered participants to pick up their packet on Wednesday. You may pick up another participant's packet as long as they are pre-registered.

Wednesday, September 16th -12:00pm - 5:00pm - Packet Pickup and Walk Up Registration - Location: Ritchie Center Concourse

Thursday, September 17th -2:30pm - 3:30pm - Packet Pickup and Walk Up Registration - Driscoll Green

Timeline for Crimson Classic Day - Thursday, September 17th, 2015

2:30pm - 3:30pm - Packet pickup and walk up registration - Driscoll Green

3:45pm - 4:00pm - Stretching and Kickoff with Provost Kvistad and VC Amy King

4:00pm - 5K Run and 1.5 Mile Walk

Bag check will be available at the start/finish line.

Awards

Focus on fun and achieving your personal best time!

All participants that complete the race will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a Fitbit activity tracker.

DU Faculty and Staff that participate in the Wellmetrics Portal will receive 300 points for completing the run/walk or volunteering. Points will automatically uploaded within 48 hours after the event.

Parking

If you do not already have a DU parking permit, Lot 108 will be open for free parking after 2pm.  

Water Stations

The summer evenings in Denver can reach warm temperatures, please be sure to hydrate prior, during, and after the event. Water stations will be located at the Start/Finish line and along the course.

Event Exclusions
Please limit the use of headphones at the race - try using only one earbud or turning the volume to low.
Sorry, no strollers or non-service pets please. 

Participants must be 8 years of age or older to participate.
