Registration Fee: $25 per person or $20 per student, $10 for children under 10.

 

Registration: Day of registration will be from 8:00 to 8:45 AM. Registration will be $30 the day of the race.

 

Packet Pickup: Pre-registered participants can pick up their race packets at Valley Running Company, 900 Rutter Ave., Forty Fort, PA 18704, from 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, August 5th.


Awards: Medals will be awarded to overall Male and Female runners. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, with best overall times in eight age categories.

Medals will be awarded for first place overall Male and Female walkers. Medals will also be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place walkers.

 

About Pauly Friedman: Pauly Friedman was a Board Member at Family Service Association of NEPA (FSA). She served as Board Chair from 1988 through 1990 and organized the first fundraiser for FSA in modern history. Pauly also formed the Friends Committee, the volunteering fundraising arm of FSA. The Walk/Run is in memory of Pauly and her commitment to families. Proceeds raised from this event will benefit PA 211 NE/Help Line, Pauly's favorite program at FSA.

While many calls in recent months have been COVID-19 related, we are also receiving calls for help with utility assistance, food banks, emergency housing, child abuse/neglect, mental health, substance abuse, victim services, aging services and volunteer opportunities.
