Thank you for visiting our fundraising page for the 2025 Flutie 5k!

Last year we were able to raise $1,746!  We hope to raise at least $2,000 this year!!

We are all running/walking for our amazing son, Jett.  Jett is 6 (turning 7 before the race) and is non-verbal, autistic.  He was first diagnosed in December of 2021, right before Christmas.  At first, we were very overwhelmed and not sure what our path would be for our son.  After a diagnosis, parents are left to basically figure it all out on their own.  There was not a person, doctor or therapist that could even guide us on the right path for Jett.  After a ton of personal research, phone calls and multiple appointments, we started to figure out the programs and tools that work best for Jett.

My husband works very hard to support all of Jetts needs financially.  We have also been very lucky to have the right people in our corner to get Jett into the programs he has needed since 3 years old.   As we have been finally feeling more confident that he is making great progress, we want to start supporting other families so their children can thrive like Jett.

This will be our 3rd year in participating in the Doug Flutie 5k!

 Jett is the sweetest boy with the best smile! He loves being outside, especially on his swingset or jumping on the trampoline.  He loves watching movies and running around with his 4 sisters.  He can always find candy no matter how hard you try to hide it.  This past year he has grown so much.  He graduated kindergarten with his neuro typical pairs and is officially in first grade at a public elementary school.  Jetts communication has also grown.  He now uses some sign language and successful communicates on his AAC device.  He can always demand snacks and cookies!  We are so proud of our boy, whose laugh and blue eyes always seem to get him out of trouble!
