Moraga Turkey Trot-2025

We have briefly re-opened registration through 11:59pm on NOV 27th. We have had a huge response to the event, so Tees/Schwag are unlikely at this point, but if you would like to register, run, compete for prizes and enjoy the fun, please do so!  Anyone on the course should be registered, bib'd and have signed the waiver.

The Moraga Chamber of Commerce welcomes back the Moraga Turkey Trot this year!  Get your stretch pants, headbands and running shoes ready and join all the other turkeys (real and human) for this great start to your Thanksgiving morning! We are excited to TROT OUT this family-friendly event on the cart path at the Moraga Country Club. Roll out of bed and come trot along in your activewear, your PJs, with a pram or in your most festive turkey regalia. (1 Prize for BEST COSTUME!) This year’s race will offer “unofficial” timed 5K and 1.5m races with proceeds benefiting the food bank. Runners, walkers and lollygaggers of all ages are welcome! 

Advance sign-up is required. Unfortunately we are not set up for on-site registration. Registrants receive a T-shirt (sizes & tees not guaranteed after 11/17), a numbered running bib and goodies! Look forward to random prize drawings, a race winner gift basket, best costume prize and treats supplied by local businesses! This year's event will have digital timers for self-timing at the start and finish. Come enjoy this wholesome tradition and celebrate Thanksgiving morning as a community! You do not need to be a Chamber or Club member to participate.

Parking will be limited and traffic laws enforced. Arrange for carpool, drop-offs and walking over, whenever possible. Take Care and remember to be kind to one another!
