- Race Day Registration: $35 starting at 6:00 AM at Pavillion 8.
- Packet pick up begins promptly at 6:00 AM at Pavillion 8.
- ALL participants receive swim cap and packet.
Description
Are you a Mermaid or Merman or just want to enjoy an organized and safe open water swim? The Mermaid Club is hosting their inaugural Mermaid Mile open water swim. The swim will be held at the pristine beaches of Boca Raton, Florida and will start at Spanish River Park - tower 19. Participants will have a mass swim start and will do an out and back swim. There will be six lifeguards overseeing safety of all participants.
The Mermaid Club is a diverse and vibrant community for women. We promote good health, fitness, well-being, inspiration, motivation, positive vibes and positive change. Our goal is to provide a fun and safe environment for women to connect with each other across the globe to empower, motivate, and feel alive. Our stories are real about real women who train hard and race, both for fun and competition.

Course Map
Please carefully review the course map. We have a total of 6 BUOYS: 4 Yellow turn buoys and 2 orange middle sighting buoys. We will start near tower 19 (final start spot is determined by Gumbo Limbo due to sea turtles nests/hatchlings). Start time is 7:30 AM. Everyone will start in the chute and you will get in groups based on your anticipated finishing time.
