From time to time the BTC may conduct special drives where donations are accepted for specific projects. For example, the water fountain along the trail in Jemison Park in Mountain Brook was made possible by generous donations to the BTC. Unless such a drive is in progress, all donations will go to the general fund of the BTC to further its mission.

In keeping with its bylaws, the Birmingham Track Club is operated as a non-profit organization. We are officially granted federal 501(c)(3) non-profit status due to our formal affiliation with the Road Runners Club of America. Donations to the Birmingham Track Club are tax deductable to the extent allowed by law. Membership dues are not considered a tax-deductable donation.
