What is A Day at the Zoo with Jefferson Health Plans event?
· This family friendly event at the Lehigh Valley Zoo will consist of a walk through the zoo where participants can enjoy the zoo, receive school supplies, and enter a raffle for a chance to win a one-year membership to the zoo.2. What day is this event?
· Saturday, September 16, 20233. Where is this event?
· This event will take place in-person at the Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Rd, Schnecksville, PA 18078.4. What time is the event?
· 10:00am – 4:00pm: Arrive anytime between 10:00am – 3:30pm to check into the event and explore at your own pace· 10:00am: Doors close at 3:30pm, if you arrive after this time, you will not be allowed to enter the event
· 4:00pm: Event ends at 4:00pm, and all guests must exit the zoo at this time
5. How can I register for this event?
· The best way to register for this event is online at https://runsignup.com/HPPLehighValleyZoo· Other options include registering over the phone at 215-967-4514 Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. There is no on-site registration for this event.
6. What does it cost to register for the event?
· Free for Jefferson Health Plans members *you must bring and show your Member ID card to the event for each registered member.7. Do I need to bring my Member ID card to the event?
· If you are registering for the event as a member, you will need to bring and show your Member ID card to the event for each registered member.8. What do I need to bring to check-in for the event?
· What do I need to bring to check-in for the event? All participants must have their QR code that will be sent to your email after you have registered for the event. Please have this available to show at check-in. You may display it on your phone or have a printed copy.9. Do I have to register my child for the event?
· Yes, all children 2 years or older must be registered for the event.10. What is included with my registration for this event?
· Admission to the Lehigh Valley Zoo during the event, a snack voucher and school supplies for kids *while supplies last".11. Will there be food provided at this event?
· Yes, a $5 snack voucher will be provided. Please note, that the total amount of the voucher can only be used at one time at one station. The option to purchase more food beyond the $5 voucher is available at the guest’s expense.12. Where can I park at the Lehigh Valley Zoo?
· Parking is free for all guests during this event in the Zoo parking lot.13. Is the Lehigh Valley Zoo wheelchair accessible?
· Yes, there is an ADA entrance, please ask staff for directions to this entrance upon arrival.14. Is there bag storage?
· There is no bag storage at the Lehigh Valley Zoo for this event.15. Are strollers allowed in the Lehigh Valley Zoo?
· Yes, strollers are welcome in the Lehigh Valley Zoo16. Are pets allowed in the Lehigh Valley Zoo?
· No pets or outside animals are allowed inside the Lehigh Valley Zoo17. Is there a rain date for this event?
· This is a rain or shine event. If there is chance of rain on the day of the event, rain ponchos will be provided for participants *while supplies last18. What type of Covid-19 precautions can I expect at this in-person event?
· The Lehigh Valley Zoo follows the most up to date requirements regarding Covid-19· There is no current mask requirement policy
· Social distancing is encouraged
· Hand sanitizer is located throughout the Zoo
