About the MatzohBall 5K
The MatzohBall 5K began 20 years ago as a fundraising event for the Temple Isaiah community. As it grew over the years, its mission expanded to help assist those in need across our community. To date, the Matzohball has contributed over $50,000 to charities in Howard County, MD. This year, 100% of the donations, received through this web portal, will support DreamBuilders, HopeWorks and GrassRoots.
Your contributions will help to make a direct impact in our community, especially among the most vulnerable populations in need of support.
Beneficiaries
DreamBuilders is an all-volunteer, interfaith community of teens and adults building homes for those in need, locally, nationally, and internationally.
Grassroots is a multi-service crisis intervention center providing 24-hour crisis intervention services, emergency and transitional shelter, and community education.
HopeWorks provides support and advocacy for people in Howard County affected by sexual and intimate partner violence and engages the community in creating the change required for prevention.
