7th Annual Body First Wicked Marathon/Half Marathon/5K/Virtual/OZ Series

The Wicked Marathon tours the town of Wamego and the historic Military Trail Road. It starts and ends in front of the famed Oz Museum where runners are greeted by characters from the Wizard of Oz. In its inaugural year, seven runners ran qualifying times for the Boston Marathon on this mostly flat, USATF certified course. The price for the marathon goes up by $10 starting December 3rd, 2019, and an additional $10 starting March 3, 2020

The Flying Monkey 5k is added in 2017 to complement the 4th Annual Wicked Marathon/Half Marathon. It is a fun run/walk. It tours the town of Wamego. The price for the 5K goes up by $10 starting December 3, 2019, and an additional $10 March 3, 2020

Rules: Run anywhere you are during March 27 through the 30. You just have to prove that you ran the distance by providing us with an image from Garmin, Fitbit, Jawbone, Mapmyrun, ETC or run another race and provide us with those results. Visit http://wickedmarathon.org/volunteers/
This 3 day event is a fun competition across the entire country. We emphasize FUN! All entries that provide us with results will be eligible for finisher medal, shirt, any bling, and a special trophy.
Yes we know that running against someone in different areas is really not fair, but who cares. For us it’s about having fun and being active. Proceeds from this event benefits kids getting active in our area.
