Details

Course volunteers are strategically placed along the race route to direct and cheer on athletes at specific intersections/locations.

Three volunteers per post. Must have a cell phone to report any needs or injuries to the event First Aid team A safety vest will be provided and worn at all times. NOT stationed in traffic areas. Police will close the streets when course monitors are in their designated locations. Course monitors will stay in their designated places until all runners have passed. There will be a police escort to signify the last runner. Must be 18 years old and up to be a course monitor.

On the Friday evening before the race, volunteers will welcome participants to KSSB campus, ask participants their name, and give them their race packets.

Set up, give out water to participants, and re-stock. All water station equipment is delivered to the water station ahead of time by the Race Setup Crew.

Assist the Onsite Registration Coordinator in registering participants on race day. Volunteers will be trained virtually about the onsite registration process before the event. Training will be scheduled.
