Details

Direct/guide/spot runners/walkers along the 5k course.

Several volunteer positions are available throught the course and will be assigned following a brief orientation immediately preceding the start of the Run/Walk (approximately 8.30am).

Volunteers should bring the following:
- clothing suitable to the weather (the event is held rain or shine)
- comfortable shoes (some standing may be required)
- a folding chair (if sitting is needed)
- cell phone (encouraged, but not required)
- water bottle (to stay hydrated)

Location

14 various locations will be assigned throughout the 5k (3.1 mile course) following a brief orientation, which takes place immediately preceding the run/walk (approximately 8:30am on the lawn in front of Town Hall at 43 South Washington Street).

Event Setup Medium Priority

Details

Assist in setting up for the 5K event. Some heavy lifting (25 lbs or less) may be required.

Assist with setup of portable tents/tables/chairs and all other event related signage, etc.

Event Breakdown Medium Priority

Details

Assist with breakdown/cleanup following the end of the Run/Walk.

Breakdown of all all event supplies, including portable tents/chairs/tables. Collection of all event supplies, materials, signage, etc.
