Stop traffic to allow runners to cross safely. 50K Start - 6:30am - this is about .85 mile from the start, so runners will be approaching in a large group shortly after the 50K start at 6:30am and the Half Marathon start at 7:30am. Traffic may be stopped for a few minutes to let a large pack through at the start.

Stop traffic (should be minimal) to allow for runner crossing at the beginning of the 50K (6:30am start, this is mile 2.5) and Half Marathon (7:30am start, this is mile 2.5) - the pack may be close together at the start, so traffic may be stopped for an extended period of time.

Half Marathon Turnaround Crew

Details

Put out cone for runners to run around at the turnaround, enter in bib number of each athlete as they go through the turnaround, maintain water station, do not leave until last half marathon runner has come through.

Half Marathon Turnaround East of Indiantown, West of Caledon Road underpass. Turnaround point will be marked.

Set out drop bags, stop traffic to allow runners to cross safely, for the 50K, this is approximately Mile 7.9 outbound and Mile 23.1 on the return. 50K start is 6:30am, runners may be approaching as early as 7:10am. Be set up by 7am. Last runner should be through by 1:15pm. Pack up aid station and return drop bags to Start/Finish near UMW Dahlgren. Pack up road signs and return as well.
