RACE POLICIES
Refund/Deferral/Transfer Policy
No refunds, deferrals or transfers to another person. In the event the race is canceled, participants will be given an option to defer to the following year.
Changing Distances
You may switch distances on race day. There is no fee to downgrade a distance. To change to a longer distance, be prepared to pay the difference in registration fees. PLEASE NOTE: Do not switch distances without notifying us. It will cause errors with the results and delay the awards.
Awards Policy
At a race, we recognize the top overall finishers and overall masters in each distance, male and female.
We also have age group awards as well, for the top three finishers in each age group. Age group increments vary from race to race, but are generally 5 or 10 year increments. Participants should check their results at the results booth after running to see if they have placed in their age group. If they are in the top three, they can pick up their award at the timing booth.
Please note that awards are doubled up for the top overall finishers and age group winners–i.e. if you were 1st overall and 1st in your age group, then you get both prizes. THIS IS FOLLOWING USATF GUIDELINES. Awards are only available for pickup at the race at the timing booth or at the Awards Ceremony. We do not mail out awards after a race. We urge you to check your results before leaving to see if you placed and to collect your award.
Packet Pickup
You may pick-up someone else's packet or have someone pick-up yours. No written permission is required. You will just need to provide a full name and event distance.
Shirt Exchanges
We allow shirt exchanges at all our races, after the race only. There are no shirt exchanges prior to the race. If you’d like to exchange your shirt, please don’t run in it. Bring it to the registration table after the race where we can exchange it for your desired size if we have extra. We cannot guarantee that we will have the desired size..
Discounts and Coupons
Discounts and coupons are not applicable to previously purchased registrations. Please do not ask to be refunded a discount amount after you have already registered. Any discounts offered are not able to be used retroactively and cannot be combined with any offer. Valid for runners not yet registered to our event.
RUNNER SAFETY:
Please obey all traffic laws if the road is not closed to traffic.
If you are wearing headphones, please keep your volume low enough to hear traffic as well as any directions from course marshals. Please be aware of your surroundings and obey any directions from course marshals and/or law enforcement.
Dogs and strollers are NOT allowed on the course per USATF rules.
