Brittany Marie Memorial 5K

This 5K is a 2 loop course that will run in between Lanier Co. High School and Elementary School. The race will be made up of grass and other surfaces. There will be a one mile at the event as well, which will take place on the track. Registration starts at 7am on race day, and the 5K begins at 8am followed by the 1 mile at 9am.

Participants are encouraged to sign up early, as the price is $15 for the 5K and $10 for the 1 mile until September 1, after which the entry fees go up to $20 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 mile.

T-shirts will be guaranteed to all early registrants, and to all others while supplies last. Once again, early registration is recommended.

Awards will be given to the top 2 finishers of the following age groups: 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. All participants in the 12 and under age group will receive an award.

There will be many door prizes handed out at the awards ceremony; though, the winners must be present to receive their prize.

Donations for Toys for Tots will also be accepted at the event.

All proceeds will benefit the Lanier County Renaissance Program.
