Description
Open water swim training with buoys, lifeguards, swag, and snacks!
Whether you are training for your first short-distance triathlon or your 100th long-distance triathlon, the Epic Open Water Practice Swim is a great opportunity to get in some quality training in a race-like setting without the pressure of a race!
A 400-meter course will be set up at Big Portage Lake State Park, home of the Tri Goddess Triathlon. Swim around once or do multiple loops. The course will be open for 1.5 hours. A time clock will be running during the swim for you to check your splits and pace.
Your registration fee includes an Epic swim cap and post-event snacks.

Park Entry

Directions
The Waterloo Recreation Area is the largest park in the Lower Peninsula. The park is home to rustic, equestrian, and modern campgrounds, cabins/yurts, beaches, picnic areas, fishing lakes, nature trails, hiking trails, mountain biking trails, equestrian trails, and swimming beaches! Oh yeah... and it is BEAUTIFUL!
